MyHD playback of Sony's HDV 1080i format!

This is a HUGE plus for me, and it makes the MyHD an even more powerful tool in my home entertainment arsenal. One of the drawbacks with HDV right now is the difficulty of playing back its video with anything except the camcorder that shot it. Now I know that the clips and the edited work from HDV will play back on MyHD (and it can do the deinterlacing of the 1080i footage).

HDV, from the DVI output of the MyHD, looks spectacular on my Optoma H79 projector. IMHO, HDV is the best thing to hit the video world since DV about 10 years ago. And now I know my favorite HD acquisition tool (HDV) is compatible with my favorite HD playback tool (MyHD) - what a great combination! - Joseph Clark
